Hey Everyone!! I am so beyond excited to be back today to party down with some other bloggers and share our versions of DIY wooden door mats!!! Here is my mat!!
Hey everyone, Happy Monday to you!! I am bubbling over with excitement to be back on the blog today with some really great news!! I am sorry I have been missing around here lately, we went on a ski vacation and my littles were sick for a while, and then we found out we will be moving…soooo my DIY projects have been on hold for a bit, but this was exciting enough to stop packing and spend a little time with my tools!!
I have teamed up with The Home Depot and four other bloggers to bring you a DIY Workshop Virtual Party…we have all created versions of this wooden door mat that will be an upcoming DIY Workshop at your local Home Depot!
My version of this door mat has to stay under wraps until next week, Monday the 21st, but in the mean time you can lock in your spot at your local Home Depot to get some hands on experience building this beauty by registering below!!
Their workshops are FREE and available at all of their locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and skill levels!! You can learn how to make home décor projects, how to operate tools, and how to make simple home repairs!! They also have a three different types of workshops: Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH), and kids!! Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…I am so excited about this simple post on my DIY Christmas Tree Crate Stand!! I know it’s a little late considering it is already the 14th of December, but… yes, I did JUST get my tree up last week!! Lol!! And even if your tree is already up, and you are using some other skirt of sorts, you can easily change it out… or pin this idea for next year! My tree was already up and decorated when I decided I wanted a crate instead of a skirt this year, and so I just built it around the base of my tree!!
Hey everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend!!! We were out of town for the holiday, but before we left, I was able to spend a little time building this adorable, small diy bench!! Woot woot!! I plan on using it in my bathroom…not the front yard…but I needed to take some pictures of it, and well, my bathroom was not exactly photo ready!! Lol!!! It is in need of a deep clean and makeover…which I am working on!! Haha!!
Isn’t it precious?! I am not sure exactly why, but I cannot walk by this little guy without thinking it is so cute!! Lol!! I think it’s because it is small and chunky and reminds me of my boys when they were babies!! Hahaha!!!
Hey there everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA for a short period…I have been busy painting, planking, and building!! Lol!! Now I’m here to share a little review of all that painting I was doing!! I was asked by Cutting Edge Stencils to use their stencil and then share with you all how I felt about it!! After spending two days just trying to choose a stencil to review because they have SO MANY amazing stencils…I went with the Bricks All-Over stencil! I have always wanted a brick wall in my home…being a renter, this was the simplest way to get one!! Lol!! Here is how my wall turned out!!
I could not be happier with the way the way turned out…I want bricks EVERYWHERE!! Hahaha!! I chose this hallway wall, and after taking my first few pictures of the stencil hanging on the wall, I realized how hard it is to photograph this narrow space…silly me…so please excuse the long side pictures!
Hello Everyone! Happy Tuesday!
I am not sure why it seems I can only manage to post things on Tuesday here lately, but at least I have posted something! LOL! And this DIY Pottery Barn knockoff drop cloth upholstered storage bench I am bringing you today was soooo easy to build… now the upholstery, I am not going to lie, gave me a run. for. my. money! But hey, seeing it now, makes it all worth while! Ha! Luckily, I learned a few things along the way that will keep you from having this same problem! Your welcome!! LOL! Indulge in the beauty of this little guy!
Now, I am not going to lie…there are a few areas that on my next upholstered project I hope look better…but since it was the first project I ever tufted, I will give myself a learning pass! My next one just better be perfect! Haha!
