Hey there!! Happy Friday Eve!! I finally have a new post for you all…it’s two super easy shelves I modified from cute jewelry holders I saw at PB Teen! I needed a little something above my son’s bed, and although I had come up with many other FUN solutions…none of them seemed to work out. The PB Teen inspired suitcase wall shelves are simple but yet hold some of the things he wanted to display! I’m happy to fill the blank wall…he’s happy to display some of his ‘treasures’!! Win-win!! Lol!!
Hey everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend!!! We were out of town for the holiday, but before we left, I was able to spend a little time building this adorable, small diy bench!! Woot woot!! I plan on using it in my bathroom…not the front yard…but I needed to take some pictures of it, and well, my bathroom was not exactly photo ready!! Lol!!! It is in need of a deep clean and makeover…which I am working on!! Haha!!
Isn’t it precious?! I am not sure exactly why, but I cannot walk by this little guy without thinking it is so cute!! Lol!! I think it’s because it is small and chunky and reminds me of my boys when they were babies!! Hahaha!!!
Hey there everyone!! Happy Wednesday!! With summer in full swing and our little ones running amuck, I thought today would be a great day to share with you a simple way to protect that beautiful furniture you build (or buy)!!
When it comes to decorating the furniture I build… my boys do not believe in anything being ‘decorative’…everything is up for grabs as a ‘toy’… and a lot of the baskets and boxes I use to decorate with are storage for their toys… so of course they are going to be taking them on and off the shelf…which leads to unsightly scratches!! Now, this is not a fix-all, we still have the occasional hammering or dropping something on the table that gives us lovely dents, but I don’t mind a little wear and tear…heck, I love furniture that is supposed to be distressed!! I just don’t like the ugly scratches that are obviously not supposed to be there!! Haha!!
Hey there!! Happy Monday!! After having spent a lot of time indoors recently since having had some major rain and storms, I was able to tackle some of my more crafty projects I have been needing to get done!! So I may be a little late on getting a new spring wreath on my door…but at least I managed to get it up before it is officially summer!! Lol!! I happen to LOVE hydrangeas, chalkboards, and burlap…so naturally, I needed to make a spring wreath that included all of my favorite things!!!
Try not to stare at how dirty it is around my door!! Haha… Looks like that will be how I will be spending the next few hours…cleaning around my door!! Lol!!
Hey there everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA for a short period…I have been busy painting, planking, and building!! Lol!! Now I’m here to share a little review of all that painting I was doing!! I was asked by Cutting Edge Stencils to use their stencil and then share with you all how I felt about it!! After spending two days just trying to choose a stencil to review because they have SO MANY amazing stencils…I went with the Bricks All-Over stencil! I have always wanted a brick wall in my home…being a renter, this was the simplest way to get one!! Lol!! Here is how my wall turned out!!
I could not be happier with the way the way turned out…I want bricks EVERYWHERE!! Hahaha!! I chose this hallway wall, and after taking my first few pictures of the stencil hanging on the wall, I realized how hard it is to photograph this narrow space…silly me…so please excuse the long side pictures!
Hey there! This last week I spent bustin’ my booty in the garage to get this beautiful Pottery Barn inspired outdoor island and hutch built! A friend of mine asked me if I could build it for her in time for an event…I said yes, but as usual, I was pushing the deadline!! Lol!!!
Photo courtesy of Shelley Green…thanks for the picture!
Doesn’t it just look so adorable!! She did such an amazing job on this event, and on making my build look so lovely!! Haha!!! I also built this same table part as a potting bench for a school auction we had recently! This design can be used in multiple ways!
