DIY Porch Bed Swing
There is something so incredibly relaxing about a porch swing, it is inviting to see and soothing to spend time swinging on! Build your own DIY porch bed swing and enjoy relaxing and swinging on your front or back porch! Dress it up with pillows and rope, and paint or stain it to match your home!
So we have FINALLY moved into our new home and although we are not totally settled, I had to get on here and share the first project I have completed in this new place!! I tell you I have literally dreamed of a porch swing since I was a little girl and this DIY porch bed swing is even better than anything I ever dreamed of!!
Update: I have completed so many other great projects since moving in, including renovating the kitchen and completing a fireplace makeover and so many great pieces of furniture!

This porch bed swing is so precious!! I have seen them on Etsy for some large sums of money and although I LOVE supporting makers and small businesses, there is NO WAY I could afford to purchase one of the swings! So I did what I normally do when I can’t afford to buy something I really love, build it myself! DIY baby!
And of course, I have the FREE plans for you as well, but you are going to have to click on over to Kreg Tool to get them! Kreg Tool (formerly Build Something) is Kreg’s new DIY website for free project plans, anyone can join and take advantage of the free plans from all over the web, all in one place!
Plus you don’t have to be a blogger to share on Kreg Tool, so if you’ve built something cool you think others may want to build head over to KregTool.com and share it today! And then let me show you a few more pictures of this beautiful lady!😉
This was my first time using a scroll saw which was a ton of fun, but let me just say, I need a LOT more practice because my cutouts are definitely not perfect! LOL!! You can easily make this porch bed swing without the cutouts as well though! You can customize the swing to fit your home’s style!
