Hey Everyone!! Happy Friday!! Okay, if you follow me on Instagram you are aware that I have teamed up with 11 other bloggers for 12 Days of a DIY Christmas! We are all teaming up to bring you 12 simple diys to make your holiday decorating perfect!
Oh man!! I tell you what, I underestimated how slow I work, and I already thought I worked at a sloth’s pace…so where does that leave me?! Lol!! So, we were demoing the old counter tops this week and I was hoping to get the concrete off of the back walls, but noooo, that didn’t happen!! Here’s where we are at…still in the midst of kitchen demo!
The holidays are coming!! I LOVE this time of year, family get-togethers, delicious food, gift giving!!! It is the BEST time of the year, my kids’ birthdays are during the holidays too…I just can’t get enough!! But do you ever feel bad when you have people standing around without any where to sit? Maybe they stopped by uninvited, maybe Grandma brought a couple gals from the nursing home😅 whatever the reason, today’s post may be a solution for you!! It is a spare dining table or game table that you can store on the wall, as art when you don’t need it for seating people!! How cool is that??? I love the idea, maybe because I have absolutely ZERO closet space in this house it seems!!
It looks like a beautiful piece of art work, but hidden behind the beauty is a little secret!! Lol!!
Hey there! Do you ever have a project that you start and literally so many things go wrong with it it seems almost insanely funny, but so utterly frustrating that you really want to bash it to pieces?! Well that was today’s project for me!! Lol!! I had so many things go wrong I don’t even know how I managed to make it even remotely presentable, but I have to say this Pottery Barn Kids inspired modular storage system looks pretty darn good for how bad she made me feel!! 😂😂 So I present to you, all the answers to your storage prayers!! 😜
Hey there!! Hope everyone in Texas stayed safe in the hurricane, and now I hope all my readers are safe in the wildfires, and soon to be Irma landfall!! Ugh!! Can we just stop with all this nonsense already? I just want to build and paint and decorate…is that too much to ask weather?! Lol!! Weather is just a big bully I tell ya!! 😜
Okay, so do you remember back in March when I posted my new Home Right paint sprayer on Instagram? What?! You don’t follow me on Insta?? Get over there and hit follow!! 😉 Oh you’re back now, okay I’ll go on! Anyway, I said then that I was going to start painting my cabinets…I didn’t specify which cabinets because I planned on painting all of the cabinets around my built in desk area and the kitchen! But on the first day, I figured I would not overwhelm myself and just start with the built in desk cabinets because I knew I would not get them all done very quickly! Little did I know just what life had in store when I took those cabinets down! Lol!! I took me until now to finally get them finished!! But here they are!
Hey everyone!! I hope you had a great time celebrating the men in your life yesterday!! I figured since a lot of Father’s get tools, I would post a simple project for you to try your tools out on today!! This one only takes a saw!!
Here are the plans for the super cheap and easy, yet large statement wall piece I shared in my DIY slim truss console table post this last week!! This diy leather and wood wall hanging prints set is not only beautiful but cost around $40 for the whole thing!! It sounded so much better when I thought I spent around 25 bucks for all of it…but I forgot I bought the files to print for an additional 17.00!! Lol!! But still one 18 x 24 picture would have ran me about that, and I have three plus some leather and wood for that price!! Plus if you have your own pics, you can print your own and only spend a little around $25!!!
