Here she is, my DIY Knockoff Pottery Barn Classic Single Sink Vanity along with free printable plans below!!
The picture is not the greatest since I was trying to get out of their apartment as quickly as I could, the tenant was trying to set her bathroom up as I was trying to take photos! Lol! [Read more…]
Hey everyone!! Wow, what an eternity it seems like since I have checked in on my little ‘ol blog!! Lol! We have FINALLY moved into our new home and although we are not totally settled, I had to get on here and share the first project I have completed in this new place!! I tell you I have literally dreamed of a porch swing since I was a little girl and this DIY porch bed swing is even better than anything I ever dreamed of!!
Well hello again!! I have been so busy in my garage building new things for my dining room…I am just so excited I guess, I can’t quit!! 🙂 I am back to share the matching knockoff West Elm Emmerson dining bench to match the table I posted on Monday!!
I now need to definitely drill more holes in the table top…They are not nearly as obvious as the ones on the bench!!
Hey there everyone!! My oh my!! If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that waaaayyyy back in JULY, I posted my new dining table, right after getting it built! I was BEYOND excited to have built a Knockoff West Elm Emmerson Dining Table, my Dad and I spent two days getting it built, it was just perfect, we hand planed it, sanded it to a buttery finish…it was time for me to distress and stain it…but I left it sitting in his shop…all this time!! Why you ask? Well, honestly, because I wanted it to look JUST like my inspiration piece, the West Elm Emmerson Dining Table, but I was sooooo afraid I was not going to be able to pull off the ‘old wood’ look that I wanted, so instead of testing stains for a few days and knocking it out that same week…I let it sit…and sit…and sit some more!! Sometimes I make myself soooo angry!! I do not understand why I get scared and won’t just go for it, I will put it off, and put it off, until all the sudden, one day I jump in knee deep and just do it, why do I have to procrastinate for days, weeks, or even months before jumping in?? I may never know…but what I do know is that I LOVE my new table!!
I am THRILLED that I FINALLY finished it!! Now I have a blank slate here in the dining room and I can’t wait to bring so many diy projects to this room!! Luckily, you can’t see the absolute mess behind me that I created making this room a blank slate! Let’s just get another look at this table shall we!! Hehe!!
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…I am so excited about this simple post on my DIY Christmas Tree Crate Stand!! I know it’s a little late considering it is already the 14th of December, but… yes, I did JUST get my tree up last week!! Lol!! And even if your tree is already up, and you are using some other skirt of sorts, you can easily change it out… or pin this idea for next year! My tree was already up and decorated when I decided I wanted a crate instead of a skirt this year, and so I just built it around the base of my tree!!
