Hey everyone, Happy Monday to you!! I am bubbling over with excitement to be back on the blog today with some really great news!! I am sorry I have been missing around here lately, we went on a ski vacation and my littles were sick for a while, and then we found out we will be moving…soooo my DIY projects have been on hold for a bit, but this was exciting enough to stop packing and spend a little time with my tools!!
I have teamed up with The Home Depot and four other bloggers to bring you a DIY Workshop Virtual Party…we have all created versions of this wooden door mat that will be an upcoming DIY Workshop at your local Home Depot!
My version of this door mat has to stay under wraps until next week, Monday the 21st, but in the mean time you can lock in your spot at your local Home Depot to get some hands on experience building this beauty by registering below!!
Their workshops are FREE and available at all of their locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and skill levels!! You can learn how to make home décor projects, how to operate tools, and how to make simple home repairs!! They also have a three different types of workshops: Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH), and kids!! Hey there everyone! I am back today to share with you the faux pallet wood tutorial explaining how I finished the table I posted yesterday! See the Knockoff West Elm Emmerson Dining Table HERE!! I definitely spent less time than I thought I would to get the faux pallet wood look, which is always exciting…because let’s be honest, it pretty much NEVER happens! Lol! I can’t say it’s exactly what I wanted it to look like, but I do love it even if it isn’t perfect!
So, as I mentioned in my Christmas Tree Crate Stand post, I was LOVING all the flocked trees I was seeing on Instagram this year!! They had me ready to run down and spend hundreds on a new tree…of course, that was only for a short period of time, then that famous little lady popped into my head and said, “Why spend all that money on a new tree…I bet there’s a way to flock your own that you already have!!” I can’t get away from that lady, but I’m kinda glad because she saves me tons of money!! 🙂
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…I am so excited about this simple post on my DIY Christmas Tree Crate Stand!! I know it’s a little late considering it is already the 14th of December, but… yes, I did JUST get my tree up last week!! Lol!! And even if your tree is already up, and you are using some other skirt of sorts, you can easily change it out… or pin this idea for next year! My tree was already up and decorated when I decided I wanted a crate instead of a skirt this year, and so I just built it around the base of my tree!!
Hey there!! Happy Friday Eve!! I finally have a new post for you all…it’s two super easy shelves I modified from cute jewelry holders I saw at PB Teen! I needed a little something above my son’s bed, and although I had come up with many other FUN solutions…none of them seemed to work out. The PB Teen inspired suitcase wall shelves are simple but yet hold some of the things he wanted to display! I’m happy to fill the blank wall…he’s happy to display some of his ‘treasures’!! Win-win!! Lol!!
